Purpose
Cornerstone Baptist Church is a thriving community of families and individuals
living in the town of Oakville as well as from Mississauga and other parts of
the Greater Toronto Area.
We exist to help people grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ. We desire to enable them to live a life that wil bring glory
and honour to His name.
We carry out this purpose by..
throught the ministry of Christ honouring music
through the preaching of God's Word
through membership in the local church
through fellowship and service
through caring for people and meeting their needs
through preaching and teaching that is relevant,
positive, and applicable
through personal discipleship
through teaching people to develop their spiritual gifts
through equipping saints for the ministry
through special events throughout the year
through evangelism in Oakville and the surrounding areas
through church planting here in Ontario and the surrounding areas
