The theme of love comes to mind with
this month as expressions of love are sent
to those special people in our lives.
God displayed His love to us in the person of the
Lord Jesus Christ as He came to die for our sins.
Depending on the kind of weather, we often refer
to March as coming in like a lamb or lion and
going out like a lion or in like a lion. March's
weather can be unpredicable.
Jesus Christ is always the same and His love
unchanging toward each of us.
After a long of season of winter, many look
forward to the arrival of spring. This coming
of this season brings the hope of warmer
weather and longer days.
This month, time should be given to properly
honour our mothers in a unique and special
way. These special ladies have given willingly
of their time and energy to influence our lifes.

Throughout the year our church calendar has a kaleidoscope
of activities and events designed to encourage the individual
and enrich the whole family.
As you enjoy this fun time of year with friends and family, it is
our desire for you to know the Reason for this special season. We
remember in awe at the greatest gift ever given as seen in the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to take away the sins of the world
including yours and mine.
God the Father sent the Son(Jesus Christ) to be the Saviour of the world.
Do you know what it means to be forgiven by God of all your sin?
The season of summer for many people concludes
this month as many enjoy holidays and trips
"God keep our land..." should be the sincerest
prayer of our hearts as we intercede to God
for the nation of Canada
Each one of us is truly blessed by God to be given
the privilege to live in this great country.

Many people enjoy the arrival of the
New Year as they look forward to an
opportunity for a fresh start.
We ought demonstrate our appreciation and
recgonize the efforts of our dads this month.
These men have worked hard to provide for the
benefit of their familes.
Work schedules for many people return back
to normal as summer vacations have ended.
Students again return to their classes as they
return again to homeworks assignments and projects.
There is one lesson for each one of us to learn
and understand very well. We need to perceive
the love of God, because He laid down His life for us.
Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a
silent moment of remembrance for the men and women
who have served, and continue to serve our country
during times of war, conflict, and peace. By remebering
their sacrifice, we recognize the tradition of freedom these
men and women fought to preserve'
The Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins
by His death on the cross. You can be forgiven today.
On January 31, 1957, the Canadain Parliment proclaimed...
"a Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the
bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed...
to be observed on the 2nd Monday of October."
We at Cornerstone enjoy the time of Thanksgiving, and we
are thankful too for the Lord Jesus Christ who gave
Himself for our sins.
